Bohlender GmbH continues Growth

GRUENSFELD/LAUDA-KOENIGSHOFEN. On the occasion of the official groundbreaking ceremony for the new production hall (1780 m²), the local paper „Fraenkische Nachrichten“ released the following report of its editor Thomas Schreiner:

GRUENSFELD/LAUDA-KOENIGSHOFEN. The BOHLENDER GmbH, domicilied in the Industrial Park "Ob der Tauber", continues its growth. The manufacturer of high-performance fluoroplastic labware as well as desiccators and drying cabinets enlarges its premises after the relocation in 2002 from Lauda to Gruensfeld by a new production hall having 1780 m², after the first annex in 2012. They invest nearly 2,5 million euros in the company´s future.

Due to bad weather conditions at the beginning of this year, the groundbreaking ceremony took only place yesterday although the steel frame has already been built up. Normally, they could already have celebrated the roofing ceremony. It is, therefore, particularly pleasant for president Volker Bohlender that a whole slew of representatives of public authorities came for the groundbreaking ceremony.

Amongst them were district administrator Reinhard Frank as well as the mayors of Gruensfeld, Mr. Joachim Markert and of Lauda-Koenigshofen, Mr. Thomas Maertens, and many representatives of the construction companies, amongst them company Konrad-Bau, Faul & Bethaeuser and Doerr, and also from the bank "Sparkasse Tauberfranken" with its chairman Peter Vogel. As company BOHLENDER operates worldwide, but is however regionally anchored, Volker Bohlender was pleased to engage construction companies out of this region, with a maximum distance of 16 km away from the construction site. This is why these investments contribute 1:1 to the region´s economy.

Thoughts about this annex have already been made in 2012. "...so that finally purchase land, enlargement of key-plan and landfill could start after three years of preparation", says Bohlender. He was proud that all the surface water can be redelivered to nature through an infiltration pond. So, purification plants will not be strained.

District administrator Reinhard Frank was happy about Volker Bohlender´s investment. "This way, you prove to trust in future which is really important.", said Frank and certified a successful future through this expansion. Mayor Joachim Markert complimented the involved authorities for the fast treatment of building permission procedure. "You do not only create jobs, you also secure them", said the town´s leader on the future´s investment. Furthermore, BOHLENDER also takes active care of apprentices every year. Due to the fact that the orders for this action were put to regional construction companies, regional economy was strengthened.Markert further explained that presumably from summer 2015, the voluntary citizen´s bus will regularly run from Gruensfeld to the Industrial Park "Ob der Tauber" so that the employees are able to reach their working place with public transport.
